Whos Playin? Evolving over the last 15 years, the music has gone from traditional New Orleans entertainment to an all inclusive music festival offering a diverse genre of American influences. The 2000 Jam on the River talent roster rounds out the flavor of the festival with The Legendary Wailers, BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, Marcia Ball, Little Milton, Govt Mule, Cowboy Mouth, Terrance Simien, Marva Wright and the BMWs, Duke Robillard, Larry McCray, BR5-49, Mars Electric, Fathead, K-Floor, Whose Blues, Alligator Zydeco, Beau Coup Bleu and more. (Talent breakdown by day to follow.) While the music appeal is as strong as Louisiana hot sauce, the food is as eclectic as the talent line up. Presenting influences from Philadelphia and New Orleans, two cities known for their bold tastes including Jambalaya, Crawfish Monica, Shrimp Po Boys, Alligator on a Stick, Cheesesteaks, Buffalo Wings, Crab Fries ala Chickies and Petes and much, much more.
